At Casa de Vayu, our processes are rooted in innovation and quality. We don’t believe in shortcuts, and we certainly don’t compromise on ingredients. Our fragrances are executed using the highest-grade manufacturing practices, designed to stand the test of time. Every fragrance is housed in glass bottles, including testers, with no plastic bottle in sight. Each one is hand-assembled by Indian women, because precision and care are part of every scent.

Her love for fragrance began long before she knew it was her calling. It started with her father’s travels.... He always returned with perfumes from around the world, gifts that gave her a first taste of an international language of scent. From the beginning she knew her truth. She was a musk girl, through and through.

The journey from love to profession was relentless. Vrinda started by making perfumes for friends with essential oils and a hunger to learn everything she could. She taught herself perfumery, blending intuition with endless research, and turned her obsession into a mission. She scouted manufacturers for over a year, endured condescension from men who doubted her, and then spent another six months perfecting her first fragrances. The result was Casa de Vayu, a brand built not on shortcuts but on blood, sweat, and rebellion.

Her pursuit of excellence took her to Grasse, France, the perfume capital of the world. She studied alongside 10 other international students in Grasse Institute of Perfumery. There she studied with the best noses, touched ingredients she had only read about, and found a deeper clarity in her craft. But her journey was never only for herself. She carried India with her, determined to prove that the country is not just a land of raw materials but a birthplace of world-class, mythology-inspired perfumes.


Casa de Vayu is her blood, sweat, tears. Perfume Rani is her identity. With every fragrance she writes India’s stories into bottles. Bold, rooted, unforgettable. She is rewriting the rules of perfumery and building a global legacy that cannot be ignored.
